Crossgrip PVC is constructed from non-porous PVC (polyvinyl chloride) in a unique design of special cross directional top ribs with a 'diamond cut' surface to give permanent slip resistance and a surer underfoot grip in a wide range of high level applications. The effective combination of an open grid format and 14mm above ground height enables self-draining and makes Crossgrip at its most efficient wherever water collects or puddles may occur. Once installed, Crossgrip PVC, which is resistant to bacterial growth and only requires minimal periodic maintenance, such as cleaning and visual inspection for damage or movement, will remain effective for the life of the roof covering below. Compatible with vinyl roofing membranes, the product additionally gives continuous protection to roofing membranes from damaging weather, pedestrian traffic, tools and machinery. When laid flat, it will remain stable in winds up to 60mph - 96km/h* and is impact resistant in extremely cold climates.
Crossgrip PVC comes in Black or Light Grey, to provide a contrasting walkway colour to the roof membrane, and 10m (33') length rolls in 60cm (2'), 91cm (3') and 122cm (4') widths. Ancillary products include PVC coloured edging for high visibility and added safety and connector clips.
Crossgrip TPO has all the performance benefits of Crossgrip PVC and is constructed from non-porous TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) in a unique design of special cross directional top ribs with an embossed surface to give permanent slip resistance. Compatible with TPO, EPDM, PVC and modified bitumen roofs, the matting is stable in wind speeds up to 60mph - 96km/h*.
Crossgrip TPO comes in White, and is supplied as standard in rolls of 10m (33') x 75cm (2.4').
*Wind Tunnel tests at the University of Hertfordshire, School of Aerospace, Automotive & Design Engineering showed Crossgrip PVC when laid flat on a stable platform remained in position for wind speeds of 94mph (150 km/h), and Crossgrip TPO for 88mph (142 km/h).
